Watchman Goby

The Watchman Goby, also known as “Prawn” or “Shrimp” Goby, create a symbiotic relationship with a species of shrimp. The shrimp dig a burrow for the Goby and the Goby feeds and protects the shrimp. They are found in Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. These Gobies like rocky places to hide. Their bodies are long and slender with a golden-tan to yellow color and light blue spots. They have large mouths that look like they are pouting. Their food source is mostly small shrimp.
