Tridacna maxima
Maxima Clams come in many different colors and patterns. These clams attach themselves to rocks or hard surfaces with appendages called byssal filaments. Maxima Clams are photosynthetic and eat algae that lives on their bodies. It is usually found living in the oceans around Africa, India, China, Australia, and the Pacific Islands.
