Valenciennea puellaris
Watch for this fun fellow to entertain you by burrowing into the sand. The Diamond Goby has a whimsical look with bright orange spots and dots running the length of his light-colored body. He also has blueish-green markings on his jaws. He likes to scoop up sand in his mouth and build up the walls of his burrow, which is a delight to watch. The Diamond Goby's sifting and burrowing in the sand helps to aerate and clean it.
The Diamond Goby can grow up to 6" long. He is native to Indonesia, Fiji, Vanuatu and Sri Lanka areas.
